Our story
Cultiwool’s story is rooted in passion for growing, not just plants, but progress. What started as a drive to make cultivation more efficient, sustainable, and predictable has grown into a global movement for better horticulture. Our journey reflects the same values that define our products: precision, reliability, and care for every detail.
From Passion to Purpose
Cultiwool was founded with a simple belief, that high-quality substrates can help growers achieve more sustainable, predictable, and efficient cultivation. What began as a small initiative has become a trusted name in professional horticulture worldwide.
When Experience Meets Innovation
Cultiwool is built on the foundation of two professionals, each bringing unique strengths to the table. Together, they combine deep horticultural insight with entrepreneurial agility and operational excellence, a synergy that drives Cultiwool’s continuous growth and global reputation.
A Shared Vision Rooted in Horticulture
Founded in 2016, Cultiwool became one of the few independent stone wool transformation companies in the world. This independence gives us the flexibility to focus solely on horticulture, continuously improving our substrates and support for growers worldwide.
In 2022, a strategic partnership with Knauf, one of the world’s leading mineral wool producers, marked a new milestone for Cultiwool. This collaboration strengthened our production standards, enhanced material consistency, and reinforced our shared commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability in modern cultivation.
